The Difference You Make:
The CIB Compliance - Business Line Compliance, M3 is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of compliance program requirements, which may include compliance risk assessment, compliance testing / quality assurance, governance matters including policy work, roles and responsibilities as well as monitoring and communication processes. The role may also have accountability to lead AML processes for the firm including the implementation and oversight over the AML Program for the organization. The Sr. Director, Compliance, may also serve as the BSA Officer for the Organization.

  • Develops and implements strategies, policies, and procedures for minimizing loss and reducing risk from fraud and other illegal acts.
  • Constructs informative reporting summarizing high level issues for various level of management and process owners with the purpose of negotiating appropriate reaction/change to mitigate risk for the company.
  • Makes modifications to loss reduction strategy based on changing fraud patterns.
  • Prepares reports for top management on loss incidents and resulting corrective actions.
  • Collaborates with Legal & Corporate Affairs to manage potential regulatory and legal liability.
  • Maintains close working knowledge of all applicable industry rules and regulations and work directly with senior leadership in policy making decisions.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Business, Finance, or equivalent degree. - Required.
  • Master's Degree: Business, Finance, or equivalent discipline. - Preferred.
  • J.D.: Juris Doctor - Preferred.
  • 12+ Years Compliance, Legal, Regulatory, or Financial Services. - Required.
  • Demonstrated experience in senior compliance and/or operations management position within the securities or banking industry.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a privacy Compliance Program.
  • Advanced knowledge of Financial Services rules and regulations.
  • Advanced understanding of Enterprise Compliance Risk Management and best practices. .
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical ability, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with senior management and Regulators.
  • Superior leadership, supervisory, and customer service skills. .
  • Ability to negotiate and compromise. .
  • Ability to communicate and influence senior executive leadership.
  • Ability to handle conflict resolution with other groups to ensure appropriate accounting guidance is followed.
  • Ability to adjust to new developments/changing circumstances.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with multiple levels of the organizational structure, including senior level management.
  • Ability to maintain and report on confidential information in an appropriate manner.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to convey a sense of urgency and drive issues/projects to closure.
  • Ability to effectively interact with the market, executive management and vendors.
  • Ability to adapt and adjust to multiple demands and competing priorities.
  • Ability to direct, train and guide peers, subordinates and management.

Certifications:

  • FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority): Series 7 - Preferred.
  • FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority): Series 24 - Preferred.
  • FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority): Series 63 - Preferred.

It Would Be Nice For You To Have:

  • Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office products.

What Else You Need To Know:

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range:

Minimum:

$260,000.00 USD

Maximum:

$350,000.00 USD
